1st: checkin with Recruiter. Nice person. Very light touch and disjointed conversation. Felt like there was little preparation, script or a ‘plan’.
2nd: F2F Hiring Manager conversation. Same as above. No plan, just talking and dig into any given answer. Is looking for some sales dude that ‘can solve their problem of lacking growth’ without any marketing/BDR/etc. Which is fine when they are open to investing in GTM, which does not seem te case.
3rd: Hiring manager + CRO conversation. Hiring Manager: more of the above. CRO: totally different GTM idea’s vs the Hiring Manager. CRO seems to have sensible GTM idea’s, however not fully clear or materialized. They share conflicting GTM strategies. Here’s your phone/laptop vs I have some new GTM idea’s, not aligned.
