Job posting was a referral from a previous colleague I worked with. The company values their product and their employees which is shown in their selection process.
I started with an hour phone interview with the HR end of September. A month later, I had a two hour in-person interview with HR, Admin Assistant, CEO and Sales Manager. First hour, was behavioral questions. Second hour was experience. After interview, HR mentioned a few staff members were not in the office that day and wants me to come back in.
Two weeks later, HR calls me on Monday at 7:30 PM to schedule another two hour interview for that Wednesday. The first hour they had me to do an activity with two staff members this role would works fairly close with. They showed me their marketing material and asked me what I would change. Second half I met with two other staff members asking me additional questions on my experience and how well I would interact in situations. Overall, they were trying to see how well I worked in a team environment. That night around 7:30 PM HR calls me and tells me I did not get the job and felt I was uneasy in my interview. I apologize, for putting a candidate in that type of activity, makes you feel a little uneasy requesting on what to change in the material along with not knowing the staff members. I feel this was not a good fit for me knowing I was getting called late at night. I value my work/family life.
