J'ai postulé via un recruteur. Le processus a pris 4 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez SoftGroup (Englewood, NJ) en janv. 2024

      Entretien

I applied for a position at iBynd through the recruitment agency Soft Group Ukraine, and I wanted to share my experience with their interview process on Glassdoor. Initially I was contacted by the recruiter Natalia, who connected me with iBynd. The recruitment process did not involve signing a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA), so I'm able to share my experience here. The interview process with iBynd was disappointing for several reasons. Firstly, it appeared that the company was unclear about their exact requirements for the role. This lack of clarity was evident during the interview. The client provided a list of questions they wanted me to answer, covering a wide range of topics, from technical skills to experience and best practices. I took the time to answer all of these questions thoroughly. After a week, I received feedback from Natalia stating that I had answered the questions exceptionally well, and the client wanted to interview me further. I was the top candidate based on my test performance. The next round of interviews consisted of a one-hour discussion with Anna (a project manager), Alan Laifer (COO), and Marc Pinke (CTO). The interview began positively, with Anna and Alan expressing they impression that I was a strong candidate. The interview took a turn when Marc Pinke, the CTO, began a technical discussion. While he initially praised my answers from the first interview, he was unable to provide specific details about what impressed him. This lack of clarity left me confused. Marc then showed parts of the project on his screen, but the text was too small to read, making it challenging to follow the discussion. He asked technical questions, which I answered confidently. Despite correctly answering the technical questions, the feedback I received later indicated that I lacked confidence in my expertise. This feedback surprised me, as I had provided accurate and thorough responses during the interview. The recruiter mentioned that the client was still considering whether they needed a developer for this role. The recruitment process left me with the impression that iBynd was unsure about their requirements and expectations for the role. While I had hoped for a positive outcome, it seems that the company may still be evaluating their need for a developer in this role.
