J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 3 mois. J'ai passé un entretien chez Smith+Nephew en juin 2017
Entretien
First had a 30 minute phone interview which resulted in an invitation for an on-site interview.
On-site interview was scheduled for 1 hour with 3 interviewers. I was first given a tour then sat in a conference room to talk about my experiences and how they would relate to the job at hand. Spent about 1 hour and 45 minutes on-site for this interview. At the conclusion of the interview I was told I would hear back in a week or two. It's been 7 weeks and I never received feedback from this interview.

Question 1
How do your current role and the skills you currently use translate to this position
J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 1 jour. J'ai passé un entretien chez Smith+Nephew (Pittsburgh, PA) en janv. 2025
Entretien
I received an email stating that, on behalf of Smith+Nephew, they would like to schedule a 30-minute phone interview with me. However, from the start, the interview felt confrontational.
First, the interviewer claimed the position wasn’t suitable for me because I didn’t live in the Pittsburgh area—until I clarified that many people commute daily from Ohio to Pittsburgh. Next, they stated I lacked manufacturing experience, which I corrected by explaining that the majority of my experience has been in manufacturing environments, working directly on the production floor. Finally, the interviewer concluded that I had too much experience for the role.
They flew me out for an interview after several phone interviews, then ghosted me for weeks afterwards. The people seemed nice to work for, but there was a lack of communication in the process.
