      Entretien

Do NOT apply or interview here. I was recently laid off and am in the struggling process of seeking new work. I applied for a job at SlicedBrand and someone reached out. I was excited to continue the process. I was sent a short questionnaire which was completed. After completion, I then received a writing assignment I had to finish by a certain deadline. The assignment was a press release. I completed that by the promised deadline and sent it into the respective employee. Radio silence after that. After numerous follow-ups on my end, I still had yet to receive a response. I checked my LinkedIn messages to see the person who had corresponded with me now has their name as "LinkedIn Member" and that I could no longer message them. A friend of mine looked up their profile and saw it was still open and active - meaning I was blocked for no reason. Do NOT apply here, do NOT interview here. They'll take advantage of your time and use you for free labor. If you're considering an offer here, read the reviews from former employees who have worked here. They're all horrible.

      Questions d'entretien [1]

      Question 1

They send you a questionnaire to do online. No phone interview or Zoom interview was conducted.

Thank you for the feedback and for the time and effort you put into the application process. Please rest assured that your work is not being used in any capacity for any clients. It is only used by us to assess a candidate’s fit for our company. The exercise is a press release for a previous client that we had eight years ago and we haven’t represented since. In reviewing your submission, we noticed that you focused on the press release component of the exercise. However, the written exercise includes additional elements that need to be completed and it appears that you may have submitted an incomplete exercise. This should have been communicated and we truly apologize if it was not. There was a transition internally, as we recently hired a new HR lead. We understand that everyone’s experience can vary significantly. While some individuals have had negative experiences, others have shared positive reviews. We try to remain respectful of everyone’s time and is why we carry out each stage of the process individually, rather than taking more of your time with interviews as well. We appreciate you sharing your experience and take all feedback to heart. We understand the frustration and challenges that come with a job search and wish you the best in your continued efforts.
