ShaJra reached out to me after I applied, and scheduled an informal meet-up to make introductions and discuss a little about my background and the company. Things moved quickly from there, through several phone screenings and two one-on-one in-person interviews. I compared several opportunities and offers, and Slalom was the clear winner across virtually all fronts.
The company culture is important, and they make sure candidates are a good fit beyond simply the technical requirements. ShaJra and her team are amazing and I could not fault their process at all, from communication, to timeline - a nicer and more professional group I have yet to work with. Every step of the way either ShaJra or one of her employees (Seema) were on top of everything.
This was the one company I interviewed with where everyone I met (whether on the recruiting team, management team, and all the consultants) were professional and genuine.
It was an absolute pleasure going through the interview and hiring process.

The interview process was a combination of technical as well as personality/culture fit. A good balance, and they recognize individuals that may not 'know everything', but have a propensity to learn and be self-motivated. An interviewee can expect the typical technical screen questions, but also personal ones such as "What are some reasons you'd like to work for Slalom?"

I was contacted by a recruiter. After the first round of technical interview I was told that my skill set does not align with the requirement. But still they would like to continue the interview process ( a big red flag). I went through 5 rounds of interview and only to be told later that they don't have a matching role at this time. That was really a big waste of time. They were aware that my profile did not match still they scheduled 6 rounds of interview. This was a very bad experience.
