3 step process: 1) phone interview with hiring manager. General chat about my experience, why I'm interested in the job, what I know about Sky and some technical questions 2) coding test requiring the use of sql and another language, relatively straight forward 3) formal 1.5hr interview with hiring manager and senior data engineer. 1st half was technical, talking through my answer to the coding test to explain my thought process. Asked to looked at some sql and python and explain what was happening. Asked to complete some sql code. Then on to competency questions, nothing too shocking, the usual type of questions I did my first interview 1 week after I applied, coding test was received the day after the first interview and final interview was 1 week after first interview. I got a call 2 hours after my final interview from Sky recruitment offering me the role so the whole process only took 2 weeks
