I sent my resume and cover letter to the internship coordinator (also the office manager) and she immediately responded saying she would add it to the applications. A couple weeks later I was contacted for an interview. I had one very easy group phone interview and heard back a few days later with an offer. I also had to complete a writing test. *To make the most out of your internship at Skirt PR, always email who you report to asking what you can do to help. Reach out to other associates. The office is a very quiet atmosphere but everyone is super friendly and willing to help. Suggestion: ask if you can sit in on conference calls/meetings. If you are a recent grad hoping to get hired after the internship, don't get your hopes up. Skirt is a very small company and someone has to basically quit in order for someone else to get hired. Most people that work here started out as intern but interned here longer than the 3 month period. Overall a positive experience!
