A recruiter reached out to me about the position. Process for me was as follows: 1. Recruiter Screen 2. Engineering Manager call 3. Codility Asessment (React/GraphQL and PHP) The codility assessment had issues. First the assessment said that the PHP exercise was in PHP 8. However it was PHP 7.x and so using PHP 8 syntax caused the tests to fail and it took me a while to realize that was the issue. I lost a lot of time and didn't have enough time to complete the React/GraphQL exercise. In the future I think if Codility doesn't offer it, they should have a human review user submissions and they should send the user submission to the company as well to make sure candidates are penalized by testcases/platform issues.
