I had a great experience applying for the Fullstack Engineer role at Sitemate. The entire process was well-structured, transparent, and engaging. Big-time timewasters. Super slow and lengthy phases. Interviewer was supposed to be an experienced engineer, but it was a grad who doesn't understanding anything about performance and just care about 'beautiful code'. I hope for them that they start hiring engineers that actually know how to write performing software, or they will soon face problems if they decide to scale up their software. And it was after 5 phases and hours and hours wasted with them. Every response took over a week to hear back.
