An initial interview which was just some background questions about experience. Then you get moved on to a technical interview in which they ask for you to write up a plugin that mocks some functionality of another site. Then after spending hours of your time on writing this plugin, you won't hear anything back until you reach out and when/if they do, they won't provide feedback about why you weren't chosen. Highly unprofessional.

The hiring process took approximately three weeks and included several stages. First, I was asked to record a video answering some questions. This was followed by an interview with the Professional Services Manager and then a technical assessment, which took me a few hours to complete. Afterward, I had an interview with the Owner, and finally, I was interviewed by the Chief of Staff and the Account Manager.
Overall, the process felt very lengthy and required a significant investment of time and energy. I feel like I was possibly strung along or “kept warm” as a backup.
After three interviews, a video interview, and technical assessment I was not selected, and when I asked for feedback they let me know that they do not provide feedback.
I wanted to note that the final interview felt awkward. I wondered if the decision may have already been made as the participants did not seem very enthusiastic or interested, and one question asking if there were reasons in my personal life that made me want to work remotely felt inappropriate and unrelated to my professional qualifications.
