Interview Rounds: 4 (Coding Test → Technical Discussion with Senior Manager → Technical Discussion with CTO → HR Culture Fit)
I had one of the worst interview experiences with Simform. The process had 4 rounds — coding test, two technical discussions, and an HR culture-fit round. Everything seemed fine initially, but the overall experience turned out to be very disappointing and unprofessional.
The recruiter misled me right from the beginning. I clearly mentioned during the first discussion that I already had an offer at a specific amount and wouldn’t go below it. The recruiter agreed and assured me it wouldn’t be an issue. Based on that, I went ahead and gave all the rounds sincerely — even one interview on Diwali, because they said the position was urgent for an immediate joiner.
After clearing all the rounds successfully, they offered me a salary much lower than what was discussed earlier. It was clear they were just trying to push me to reject the offer because they had found someone cheaper. And when I tried to reach out for clarification, they completely ghosted me — no reply, no closure, nothing.
Honestly, it felt like a complete waste of time and effort. The company doesn’t value candidates’ time or honesty. If they had been transparent from the start, I wouldn’t have even attended the interviews.
Pros:
Technical panel was skilled and the rounds were structured.
Cons:
False commitments during hiring process.
Salary discussion not honored.
Poor communication and ghosting after final round.
No respect for candidates’ time or effort.
