I had an initial phone screen with a recruiter and it was nice because my portfolio was already screened by the hiring manager. The recruiter didn't have the exact process because I was told it was two rounds and it ended up being 3 rounds and the last one a portfolio presentation. There was large gaps between communication. I made it to the final round and prepared and did not get an offer. I was okay not receiving an offer but literally i was ghosted. The recruiter never called or sent an email telling me I didn't get an offer and I think that is rude and unprofessional, especially when the process was not articulated clearly and the last step is a portfolio review where we are expected to prepare for.
