      Entretien

Started with a group interview at the store. Group was about 20ish people. After that we watched some videos about Apple and they introduced the team currently working at that store. Everyone in the group then had to partner with someone else and had to introduce their partner after getting to know them. After this and more videos, we were grouped into 4 teams of around 5-6 people. We started with role playing and interacted with one of the employees of the store. We then passed around an iPad that asked us various situational questions and answered the questions aloud to the group. After this, each group role played in front of the rest of the group. Once this was done, we watched a few more videos, asked questions and that was it. I was called the next day for an additional interview that same day. At the end of that interview I scheduled my next interview two days later. Once that interview was completed, I was contacted about another interview. After that was complete, I was contacted a few days later about meeting with the store leader and market leader. Upon arrival I discovered this was yet another group interview. This time there were 6 of us and there was another group of 6 coming in later in the day. After that, it was about 4 days and I was offered the job. So many people on here make this sound like a formula. Apple has their formula regarding the hiring PROCESS (i.e: group interview, individual interviews, etc). You could easily pick out the people who read into these Apple interviews way too much. They were awkward, out of place and everything felt forced. At the end of the day, be yourself and know that if you aren't very extroverted, there is no retail job that is right for you. Don't go into these interviews trying to be super outgoing or being the first person to answer every single question. If that's who you are, go for it. If you're not, do not force yourself to be. Be smart and confident in yourself and have fun. Crack some jokes. That will win you more offers, whether it's Apple or not, than being obnoxious. I can tell you right now that the individuals that tried too hard, that sounded like they had just read 50 other people's and tried to implement every bit of advice that each person gave, were not one the 4 people that were hired. Don't over think this. Be you. That's what they are looking for. I will say this. It is just as much about the team as it is the customer experience. You can't give a great customer experience if your team has issues with each other.
