The interviewer joined 30 mins late. Throughout the interview, the guy was having some snacks (audible), and it was very disrespectful as well as irritating. The interview went for an hour and was good (answered all questions). The interviewer didn't seem bright on the technicals, through the questions being asked and his thought process. Also, the communication skills were not at all good. He took pauses of 10-20 secs, mumbling- "Umm.. umm.. acha.. okay..", apparently was going through some questions list. NOT AT ALL PROFESSIONAL.
Anyway, the interview went good from my side. In the end, just before dropping the interview, he suddenly asked me the salary expectations, which was NOT EXPECTED, given his designation it'd have HR confidentiality issues.
Below, I'm selecting "Yes, but declined". As I was being offered another round for another designation, which I declined.
I advise that the company, as it's still growing up from a startup, be serious about your hiring process. Don't let non-professionals take interviews. I am not saying that I was perfect, but just saying that the interviewer was not at all worthy to take an interview.
