The interviews themselves were fairly standard and I had good conversations with the BDR managers. I appreciated the opportunity to showcase my skills and was optimistic after each round. However, the overall process was deeply frustrating and mishandled.
What was supposed to be a 3-step process turned into four rounds because one of the key interviewers didn’t show up to my final panel - so I had to reschedule and repeat that step. After that, reference checks dragged on for over a month due to poor communication. They had to schedule three separate times to reach my second reference: one time they didn’t call at all, and another time they mistakenly called me instead of my reference, which delayed things even further.
The most disappointing part was being completely ghosted after they finally spoke with my second reference. Despite my follow-ups, I never received any kind of update, closure, or feedback - which I found both unprofessional and disrespectful after the time and effort I invested.
What makes this experience even more frustrating is that Sigma has a genuinely impressive product. But I would strongly caution future candidates to be wary of the lack of communication, disorganization, and basic professionalism in the interview process. It was not at all reflective of the standards you’d expect from a company of this caliber.
