Not really an interview, just a salary inquiry. Sift is looking to carve their niche in the US, Massachusetts specifically. I think they are a little out of touch with what the cost of living is here as opposed to the UK and/or the southern parts of the US. They will be hard pressed to find an experienced professional to work for the salaries they are quoting. Perhaps someone fresh out of college but they won't stay. It's unfortunate as the job seemed like it would be a lot of fun. I appreciated that they didn't waste my time and told me the salary up front.
