I found the job posted on craigslist and contacted them with my interest. The posting had been made by the manager of this particular branch of Showtime, and he was the same person who was the face of the company during the entire interview process. There were no corporate questionaires, and it was quite informal. I brought my resume and portfolio along with me. He was interested in seeing that I knew how to operate a camera and how to adapt to changing light conditions, and was hardly interested in artistic value of the portfolio. I was offered the job on the spot, and accepted. I opted for part time because it fit my schedule best.
