Entretien
I was dragged through a total of 10 interviews for 3 different roles. I got a negative feedback for Role 1 and 3 but never got a feedback for Role 2. The hiring manager told me he would get back to me with a feedback but never did. The last interviewer I spoke to told me I would get an offer because they are looking for people like me in this company. Nothing happened.
The whole thing lasted 2 months in total. Very exhausting and disappointing.

Question 1
The questions were fairly easy and classic. For the first role I had to prepare a role play, and send out a summary email afterwards. Actually, the day of the role play interview I was not briefed in advance. They didn't sent me the pitch. So we had to cancel this interview and reschedule so I could get ready. Really unprofessionnal.
For such a big company, the sales Talent Acquision team has no idea how to discover sales talent. All they care about is e-commerce experience but they don’t understand that someone who has an excellent sales track récord can transfer those skills to This industry. The hiring team needs to know what sales talent is before they get put into a role to hire people. They are completely clueless. I hope Shopify fixes their people
And gives them some training on how to hire talented sales people.

Entretien
They will look further than just a resume and see you for who you are. Most companies this big will only consider you if you have gone to an Elite School.
