Applied for a different position initially, but was referred to another role. Had a 15 min phone interview with recruiter, who said I will be informed within 2 weeks if I made it to the next round. No reply. Found out in 3 weeks that I was not selected after I made an enquiry on outcome. Was recommended another suitable job posting more than a month later and manage to progress to the 2nd and 3rd round of interviews. Mostly answered standard interview questions and was given a detailed explanation about role in the 2nd round. Final round (3rd) was with the hiring manager, who kept asking if I preferred to work in an agency or an in-house environment and was quite brusque about it. Was told that I would know the outcome within 2 weeks. Emailed twice in the subsequent 2 weeks to follow up on updates. Each time I was told that they were still interviewing candidates and will inform me once a final decision has been made. Tried emailing again after 4+ weeks from the final interview, and soon received a template rejection email from recruiter. Overall, it was a long, drawn out hiring process and their lack of initiative (twice) to inform interviewees on outcome just speaks volumes.
