I applied and a phone screen was scheduled. The recruiter was 10 minutes late but mentioned he could go past time. He talked AT me the entire time, talking down to me as if I had no experience in the professional world whatsoever. It was extremely patronizing. He did not ask me a single question. He then abruptly ended the meeting with 1 minute left because he said he actually can't go past time. I did not get to ask any questions. I heard nothing for over a week. I followed up and got a rejection with the reason that they were looking for someone with more SaaS product management experience, which is exactly what I have. Over 5 years of it. When I followed up and asked for clarification, I got another canned rejection response. I was extremely disappointed in the way I was treated by this recruiter.

Entretien
I interviewed with Shiftkey for the Senior Product Manager role in June 2025. The process started with a recruiter call with Artur, which went very well, followed by an interview with the new Head of Product, Kevin. At the time I started interviewing, the exact focus for the role wasn’t fully finalized.
During the process, the hiring needs shifted toward finding someone with strong fintech experience, which ultimately led to a rejection.
Even though I didn’t advance further, I left with a positive impression of the people and company. I would welcome the opportunity to reconnect for future openings.
