Negative experience. Recruiter reached out to me for the role.
Standard multiple rounds (3 hr take-home, 1 BE round, 1 code review, 1 project round)
Communication was inconsistent. After completing the take-home, the team said that’d follow up with feedback. I was ghosted for a month.
They reached out again for a different role, and continued the process. Near the final round, I received another offer.
They wanted to accelerate the final interview timeline, writing that they will provide a written offer afterwards.
After finishing the last interview, I later received a generic rejection email without any feedback.
There was a major lack of transparency that created unnecessary pressure and also extended this process to 2+ months. They created expectations of a written offer that was not followed through, which was unnecessary to begin with.
J'ai postulé en ligne. J'ai passé un entretien chez Sherpa (Canada)
Entretien
First round was a meet and greet with a tech lead (30-45min).
Second round was a panel interview with three engineers, where only two paid any attention to what was going on (90 min).
Then they ghosted.

[--READ FULL---]: 1st Round was with HM..I told about project that was based on Automation [Position was: Software Engineer - Automation].. He really loved & then i got call for 2nd round.. 4 Engineers joined & gave me TypeScript question, i solved it really greatful & then they asked, about, how internet works, api methods, how u gonna make query fast in db, how to add column in db in production, put vs patch..etc
Most Worst things: I got rejection with Feedback [You needed to explain while writing code, even though its correct & need to ask question/clarification even you are on path]
What i did was: Wrote code perfectly of TS.. Then, explained...
Who cares about explaining code while writing or later?? If they told me they preffered that then obviously, I've done that.. Also, problem was simple & i got it so why i will ask more questions??
