Entretien
Eerst online gesolliciteerd door CV + motivatiebrief op te sturen. Vervolgens ontving ik een uitnodiging om de capaciteitentest (numeriek, verbaal en logisch redeneren) af te nemen. Er was ook een test om je werkstijl te pijlen.
Een paar weken later moest ik een on-demand online interview doen. Het is even wennen om de vragen op te nemen i.p.v. iemand aan de ander kant van het gesprek hebben. Vragen waren volledig gericht op competencies en ervaringen. Hierbij moet je kunnen bewijzen dat je de Shell CAR kwaliteiten bezit en deze kunnen vertellen volgens de STAR-methode.
Als laatste werd ik uitgenodigd voor de final assessment online. Dit duurder bijna 3 uur en bestond uit een case study en een interview met twee assessors. De vragen waren volledig gericht op competencies.
De sollicitatieprocedure was heel erg fijn. Iedereen die ik gesproken of gemaild heb was heel behulpzaam, aardig en professioneel. Je hebt bij Shell het gevoel dat ze echt hun best doen om jou alle informatie te geven die je nodig hebt om je beste been voor te zetten. Als je goed oplet en tijd investeer in de voorbereiding kom je al heel ver.

Entretien
The interview process focses on behavioral assessments and technical screenings. Candidates are tested on the "CAR" method, focusing on safety, leadership, and on job competence through structured and in depth questions.
The first round is a recorded video interview. You need to record some videos based on their questions. There were 3 questions or me, which is not very unique. About your project, your interest in Shell.
I recently completed a video interview on HireVue, and the overall experience was pretty interesting. The platform presented a large number of psychological assessment questions along with several prompts focused on workplace morality and ethical decision-making. I appreciated that HireVue allowed unlimited time to record and re-record my video responses, which took a lot of the pressure off and made the process feel more flexible and less rushed.
Each portion of the interview was fairly in-depth and required thoughtful answers, so it ended up taking around 30 minutes per section. The combination of the structured assessments and the freedom to redo videos made the entire interview feel thorough but manageable.
