J'ai postulé via un établissement d'enseignement supérieur ou universitaire. Le processus a pris 2 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Shawcor (Toronto, ON) en avr. 2017
Entretien
two on one interview. Interviewers were alright but they asked a bunch of technical "electrical" questions from a chemical engineering student. I of course had no clue....and about polymers and to draw a structure,...and how you would obtain info on a certain material etc etc. I was expecting behavioral type questions,....it wasn't as if i was writing a test,..so its bit unexpected to be asked on all technical stuff.

Question 1
Something about a dielectric and how they effect the piping coating

Entretien
When I entered the interviewing room the manager and the senior scientist greeted me. They were very friendly and asked how I was doing. They asked me what I knew about ShawCor and why I applied. They asked me if I was comfortable working in a semi-industrial environment. Most of the questions were related to the polymers and pipeline industry. Overall, the interview went by very quickly and they gave me lots of time to ask them questions.
