The interview was scheduled promptly, and information was exchanged in an efficient manner. The interviewer was professional, serious, and relatively open to answering questions. Post-interview, the company decided to go a separate way, but purported that they might add additional positions. They then repeatedly prompted me to take a third party follow-up survey. It seemed as if they wanted to leverage unsubstantiated future opportunities in order to engage me in follow-up that would profit them. I found this to be quite disrespectful to my time, as no offer or new position had been given. The interviewer asked how my background education benefitted me, then proceeded to tell me how education meant very little to the job at hand.

The application process was standard. Then you had a phone interview. Then an in person interview was scheduled to meet the hiring manager in the city that the position was available.
