I’ve actually interviewed here twice (once about 2 years ago) and once more recently. Both experiences were the same and not great.
Both times, I was contacted by a recruiter via phone at my current job. The first time was for a position that required relocation, which I was open to. The recruiter loved my resume, said I sounded like a perfect candidate for two open positions they had. She said she would follow up with me in 2 days and then...crickets.
The second time, the same kind of song and dance from a recruiter for a local position. She did schedule an in-person interview. It seemed to go well, the person I interviewed with told me what the next steps would be and to expect to be contacted shortly to do another in-person interview with a VPO then...crickets.
This company has now solicited me multiple times now and has failed to follow through. If I’m not a good fit that’s totally understandable but it’s frustrating that they can’t even send a generic “we’ve moved on” email.
I have heard through the grapevine that they rely heavily on Linkdin profiles to pre-screen their candidates but I don’t know how true that is? Something to keep in mind, I suppose.
