I recently had an interview that included conversations with both the HR representative and the hiring manager. The overall experience felt somewhat routine, giving me the impression that the interview might have been a formality, possibly due to the presence of an internal candidate already in consideration. Subsequently, I received a prompt response the following day, informing me that they would not be proceeding with my application. While I fully understand and respect their decision, I did note a lack of specific feedback regarding my interview performance.
