      Entretien

      The HR department was very responsive and the process itself was pretty straightforward and effective. The first round consisted of analytical questions along with some english language assessment questions as well. The second round was a data cleaning assignment, upon clearing this, it was followed by two rounds of interviews. Right after each round I was sent the mail for the next one. The process was clearly very streamlined and smooth for the interviewee.

      Entretien

      I received the data challenge from one of the company member. Worked on it for 2 days since it was not very easy challenge. Later they got back to me saying that they will offer me half of the minimum wage for Junior Data Engineer Position.

      Thank you for taking the time to write this review. I am very sorry to hear that you were disappointed with our interview and screening process. We are very deliberate with our hiring process and want to ensure we hire the best talent possible. When we see someone has potential but doesn’t quite fit the role they are applying for, we try to find room in our budget to hire them since we will still have to hire an additional employee to fill in the gaps. One of the benefits of working with us is that we are a meritocracy. As you grow and learn new abilities or skills, you can move up in the organization fast and get raises. However, when determining an initial salary, we have to take into account the applicant’s current skillset and experience level, not their potential. Thank you again for caring enough to bring this issue to our attention. I hope as you gain more knowledge and experience, you will reconsider applying for SelfDecode.
