The interview process was alright. Not the worst interview process but also not the best interview process. I would go through the process again. I would recommend the interview process to others
J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 1 jour. J'ai passé un entretien chez Sears (Kahului, HI) en juin 2012

Application process began through LinkedIn. Talent coordinator referred a few open positions and I applied through Sears' online application process. This process also allowed me to schedule an interview after a few days when I checked back to my application. I am guessing that someone reviewed my application and then I was allowed to choose my interview date and time. This was a first for me, but quite simple. The interview itself consisted of two separate one on one interviews with department managers. I was told this usually takes place over the course of two separate days, but I did them in the same day. I am assuming that either they really need some good candidates to fill these positions, or that It just worked out in my favor that both managers were available for me that day. I was shown the store and given a brief rundown on prices, markups, and commissions for various products and services the same day. After all that I was offered my choicer of two sales positions, one of which is straight commission, and the other base plus. I accepted an offer and went straight from Sears to take my drug screen. Now I am just waiting for the results of that and my background check to come back before I start. All in all I would say I feel pretty good about the process. I am guessing that there was not an abundance of applicants for me to compete with in this case, but then again we are in an island in Maui.

It was my first job, and it was a fairly standard interview at the time. It was difficult, because the hiring manager was not there, despite having should been. I was told to check back for three days in a row, before the person that made me the offer just happened to be there and decided to conduct an interview after three days of checking back.
