Recruiter was really unprofessional didn't have respect for my time. Was always late for when he said he would call and for deadlines. At one point I was apparently about to interview for a data science position after they got my interviews mixed up. Initial phone interview was with the hiring manager where he asked really basic HTML/css questions. That was the first red flag for me as it seemed he cared way to much about basic html rather than talking about things I had accomplished and projects I've worked on. Second phone was standard coding question leet code easy. Onsite was 4 interviews. First two was cross functional interview with designers and project managers I really enjoyed talking with them. Third one was with an engineer who gave me a project type question to do in 45 minutes. Had to do it only in plain html/css and javascript. He just sat there for 45 minutes typing away at his computer after what he told me to do. In my opinion this is one of the worst ways to determine a candidates technical competency. I was kind of done with the interview at that point so I just ended up copy/pasting a bunch of code from online. Last one was the hiring manager with a high level overview design question. Hiring manager was the most technically incompetent manager I've ever met who has over '15 years of experience'. We continued with basic html type questions and ended up correcting him several times on responsive design concepts. Got an offer ended up declining almost immediately. They need to revamp their hiring process.
