Overall a very smooth experience with a consistent structure including Recruiter screen -> Hiring Manager screen -> On-site 4 interviews -> Homework -> Referrals . Everything was handled well and the questions, while challenging, were fair. Having started here, I understand why they ask the questions they do and I think it makes sense. Worth the journey!

Recruiter screen and then hiring manager. Rejected after that round. The discussions with the employees and logistics of the interviews went well and as expected. My negative experience is in the rejection. I was asked to fill out a candidate feedback survey which I happily did, fairly basic survey. But when asking them what feedback they had for me for future, they declined to give any as a policy to not share feedback with candidates. The hypocrisy and unethical exchange shouldn't be accepted.

Passed screens before being ghosted by recruiter before scheduling manager round. Unfortunate that recruiting team is unprofessional and can't extend the basic courtesy of communicating after taking up candidates time.

Worst interview process I've ever experienced! Recruiter reached out to me via LinkedIn and had an initial screening call. The hiring manager called me a week later at our scheduled time. He sounded completely disinterested and didn't ask me any questions. Instead, he asked me if I had any questions for him. I asked him 2 questions and he gave me very short answers. The whole interview lasted 10 minutes. I hung up thinking WTF just happened. I hope Samsara realizes that they're just not interviewing their candidates during the phone screen but their candidates are also interviewing them to see if they're a good fit.
