Took me a month and a half to complete an interview process for a new and largely ambiguous senior analyst role. 1. Recruiter call 2. Hiring manager interview 3 Take home HW assignment 4. Presentation going over assignment with hiring manager and another manager 5. Panel interview with 3 people not including hiring manager or direct peer in role. Samsara rescheduled 2 times throughout the process. It felt as though the process was too long and involved too many steps for the role/compensation. The hiring process was largely unclear from the beginning, the role itself was ambiguous. When I was notified that I did not get the position, I got no real feedback. They told me they would keep me in mind for future roles, but the interview process has turned me off from to wanting to explore any future opportunities if they come my way.
