I had a 1:1 interview with the Engineering VP for about an hour, then I was given a code challenge to do at home. Then I met with a couple members of the department and they went over the challenge as well as a few more of my github repos. A couple days later I met with the CEO and was extended an offer shortly after. It was pretty quick and painless and everyone was kind.

I had a call with HR just to get a feel for the position and learn more. I asked about the salary range but was told that there was no information on the budget for this position and was instead asked to give my salary expectations. That was the first red flag. Next, I was asked to do a take home code assignment, which was around 3 hours. This was the second red flag. Overall, HR was pleasant to speak with, but the interview process seems very long (5 interviews total, which is longer than Google). Luckily, I landed a job at Google the following day so all good.

I emailed them after the University career fair, and after about two days, I get feedback, they inform me to go their building for an onsite interview. when I arrived there, their owner talked with me, and they asked me whether I know PHP, but I only have experience with JSP, Javascript, Jquery, so I told him NO. the interview was short, I think that manager was also nervous when he talked with me, I remember he asked me three times:" do you have any question for me?" I actually just prepare for the technical question before I went to that interview. after that. I don't get any response from them.
Above all, it's really a good experience to do that interview, they are friendly.

They gave me a tour of the building which was really nice. They had a stocked kitchen, a rec room, standing desks. I met with two developers and we talked about what they expected of me as a new hire and they assessed my programming skills with a javascript challenge. After that, I met with the Head of Engineering and finally the CEO. They were very transparent about their business core values and expectations. No over simplifying or beating around the bush. They really focused on if I would be a good fit here rather than making it just an awkward screening process.
