The recruiter was incredibly slow. After the phone screen, it took her over two weeks to schedule the next interview. The interview went really well with the hiring manager verbally moving me to the next round, however, despite my multiple follow ups, the recruiter never scheduled the next interview. On my third follow up - almost another two weeks later - the recruiter let me know they filled the position. It's very disheartening that despite the hiring manager wanting to move me forward, the ball was dropped. The current job market is very difficult right now and it's frustrating when recruiting teams aren't considerate of candidates.
