Thank you so much for taking time out to review our interviewing process. As an ever-growing company, we are always trying to improve every aspect of our company. I guess I am a little confused as to how scripted relates with "selling." We do have and teach a systematic way for conducting interviews, which is essential for our growth because we want to ensure that every person we interview is hearing the same, consistent message. If we didn't teach how to interview, then it would be extremely difficult to make sure we are saying the correct thing. With that being said, there is no need to "sell" a position to someone. We simply lay out our entire management development the same way to each candidate. If we are trying to get technical, any company you have ever worked with "sold" you in some way, shape, or form, otherwise you never would have started with them.
Now seeing how I taught our guys how to conduct interviews, I take serious offense to your claim that we lie. That is not how I conduct business nor teach any of our guys to as well. Because we created a systematic way of teaching interviews, we know 100% that none of our guys nor myself every lie to a candidate. We ask that each candidate hold off questions until after their 2nd round interview that way we have everything covered. We then open the floor for questions, and we do again during the 3rd round interview.
I am sorry for your confusion about your interviewing process, and wish you all the best.
