Beware of false promises!!
Initial phone screen/interview with Branch Manager. Onsite interview with Branch Manager and Salesman. 2nd onsite interview with Regional Manager. All good interactions, including facility tour. Waited for Offer from the Branch Manager.
Red Flags start to arise. Days later, received wishy washy verbal phone Offer and accepted, and even agreed to a salary cut to work for what I thought was a great company with good resources/backing to grow and own their distribution sector. Formal Offer Letter was said to be on the way to me.
More RED FLAGS. After waiting for the Branch Manager to return from a week long vacation, he then emailed me late in the day retracting the Offer; stating the company no longer needs the position.
WOW! I was hoping SRS wasn't as poorly managed as it appeared they were during the interview process. Luckily I had developed 2 additional pending Offers, and was ready to accept either one, and did.
Advice to SRS Distribution: DON'T interview for positions and make Offers to people for positions that your Texas corporate money backers won't allow you to actually fill. This can be detrimental to candidates who may actually give notice at their current employers under your false Offer promises.
