I was referred by a friend. Went in person with a Resume. The HR quickly scanned it and gave me a questioner which is actually an exam paper and told me to complete in half an hour. I completed and submitted. I was not knowing I was watched from beginning till end, later I knew. They watch for professionalism, not using cellphone, even calculator.

Tell about yourself, strengths and weakness, what customer service skill you bring to SMT, How did you handle irate customer, why SMT, Any question for SMT.
I was referred to by a friend. I came in and dropped off my resume and they interviewed me on the spot. I was later called and told that I got the job. Easy going interview. There was a skills test they make you do before you interview. It's part of the application.

The interview was a general interview which was very easy. They would hire you if you had good communication skills. They ask the candidates to complete a general test including language, math, behavioral and general knowledge questions. Since there were many internationals working at the company, they carefully checked the legal eligibility to work in Canada.

Applied through an online job board. Contacted by phone. Completed a mathematics and psychoanalysis forms that had nothing to do with Telesales. Unless you ask specifically what they do, you won't find out until your first day of training (maybe).
