I was contacted via email for an interview with their director, I believe they were setting up an office in Singapore. The recruiter who contacted me not only did not show up for the call, but emailed me AFTER I emailed saying I've been waiting in the meeting room for him. Apparently he had to attend another urgent meeting, which I understood but I think a quick email to give me a heads up that he was still stuck on the call would have sufficed. He asked to reschedule and after I gave my availability, I never heard from him again until a follow up which resulted in him letting me know that they decided to interview internally but would get back to me. Obviously he did not get back to me. I don't care that I never got a chance to interview etc, but this was poorly handled on the recruiter's part and it was terribly unprofessional, there didn't seem to be any regard for the interviewee's time taken to make the necessary arrangements given the different timezones.
