      Entretien

This was one of the worst interview experiences I’ve ever had. After going through 4-5 rounds of interviews and even getting an official offer letter, they rescinded the offer as soon as I tried to negotiate. It was shocking and extremely unprofessional. I was fully ready to relocate across the country for this job and had no issue with the move. But when I got the offer, I requested some pretty standard things—salary, relocation assistance, and the start date of just 2 weeks later than what they planned. I even ran my requests by my MBA advisors and some hiring managers I know, and everyone said they were completely reasonable requests. Instead of just saying “no” to my counteroffer, they completely rescinded the offer. No explanation, no attempt to discuss further—just done. It felt so disrespectful. Negotiating is such a normal part of accepting a job, and it’s frustrating that they couldn’t even handle that professionally. Looking back, I’m glad I found out what kind of company they are before I made a huge life change to work for them. It was a very disappointing experience, but at least I dodged a bullet.

      Questions d'entretien [1]

      Question 1

Tell me about your experience managing different territories. How do you handle conflict and challenges? How do you handle cross-functional projects? If relocation is required, I’d strongly advise against taking this job. Even though the role is remote, they’re surprisingly strict about where they want you to live. Honestly, I’m convinced part of the reason I got an offer was because I’m unmarried, have no kids, and no pets. Throughout the interview process, it became clear they were desperate to replace an employee on maternity leave. They even complained about a previous employee being "difficult" because they had a dog. It felt like they were specifically looking for someone with no outside commitments, which says a lot about their priorities and work culture.
