Entretien
The interview process started with a 3 person panel. The interviewers did not appear to understand the purpose of the role or the companies 6-12 month priorities. It was also clear that there was tension amongst the 3 interviewers. The next stage was a single interviewer who was arrogant and was not open to fresh ideas or assistance a new person could bring to the role. He would correct my answers after each question. The classic was the first question do you know what this role is about? Typically the interviewing company would explain this but in this case he expected me to answer which l did. He said abruptly no that is not what this role is about and went on to explain basically what the role was which sounded similar to the answer l had given to begin with. This trend continued through the interview he would correct each answer l had given. This is an obvious case where they will never take input or direction from a new person coming into the company as they already have the answers. If you already have the answers then why hire someone new? He also belittled my experience on a large transformation program 300M worth l had worked across saying it didn’t appear to be as big as seeks program lol the arrogance of this individual was hillarious.
