J'ai postulé via la recommandation d'un employé. J'ai passé un entretien chez SED GAMING

      Entretien

I was directed to the position via a friend already employed there. It was simple enough to pass along my resume and information and the HR office was nice enough. I arrived early for the interview and was pleasantly surprised that they didn't make me wait until my exact interview time, instead taking me when the hiring supervisor was available, a good 30 min or so before my time. I had submitted a C++ Blackjack game where I was given free reign to program it however I wanted so long as it was in C++. During the interview, I was reassured to find that they weren't necessarily looking for functionality of the program but more so my coding approach. I was asked questions such as why I chose to use one data type over the other or why I used certain names or approaches. On the second interview, I met the CFO. He asked standard interview questions (Why do you want to work here, what kind of salary are you expecting, ect). It went a lot faster and felt far more formal than the previous interview did. When I entered the office, I will admit that it felt a bit cold. There was not much to behold in the front 'lobby' area except for a few chairs and the reception desk. The receptionist was very nice and kept up reasonable conversation probably because she noticed my nervousness. Everyone was in casual clothes and friendly.

J'ai postulé via la recommandation d'un employé. Le processus a pris 1 semaine. J'ai passé un entretien chez SED GAMING (Duluth, GA) en mars 2010

      Entretien

Heard about the place from a friend that worked there and he got me an interview. First part was having to write a C++ Blackjack game for them to analyze. Was called in for an in face interview to talk about it. They used it more to see how I thought as a programmer more so than if I could program on some expert level. Was called back in for a second interview to meet the CFO and basically do a personality interview. Afterwards, was offered the position.

      Question 1

Writing the program was a bit difficult as I didn't know c++ nor blackjack.
