writing an API test framework ahead of interview, quite fun and reasonable. First round the standard chat with some pretty cool people. What was fairly weird about this was that I already knew ahead of time that the position I was interviewing for was already offered to someone else (I knew them). So I'm not convinced I was forgotten about before I even had the chance to demo my framework. Left a pretty sour taste.

I got call from HR and i told them I am looking for X lac CTC that time they said it is ok, after I had excellent interviewws and got selected, they sent me offer letter of just X-2 lac. I currently have X - 3 lac ctc, so i asked why would i join just for 1 lac. I already have X+1 offer from other company but still asked to give me X so I will accept this offer letter. If a company can't give 20-30% hike to new joiner then what can i expect hike after joining. Worst behaviour by HR. Technical + Manager interviewers were decent but HRs behaviour was like if you want to join SAS then join in this CTC only otherwise we will look for other candidate. If company can't afford salary hike to new hires then why did they fake and take all interviews. Whosoever read my view, I am sure you will understand and keep away from this organization. They really dont want to hire anyone.
