During the interview, the manager asked me a question. I answered "hashmap", after which she quickly got angry and said "why would you use a hashmap, use a regular map. A hashmap is only when you want to map a key to multiple values." I wonder how someone like this is even allowed to work in software engineering. How they even got through a basic cs class is a mystery.
