The interview process started off good, with prompt communication in the beginning. I had to complete a couple of assessments which took a little time to think through and then had a great initial screening phone call. But after that is when it became a negative experience. At first it was the typical "we are moving quickly with hiring for the role and will let you know something by...", and "Selena will be reviewing screened applicants and we will let you know of next steps...", and then the hiring manager fell off the face of the earth. Communication was slow all of a sudden. I sent a couple of follow-up emails to the hiring manager that went ignored/unanswered. I wanted to see if I could get an update on the position or see if they had chosen to move forward with me or not. I'm big on following-up with people and following-through on processes, regardless of the outcome (whether it's in my favor or not). So that was disappointing. I hope they're more considerate and appreciative of other applicants' time and effort the next time they hire.
