J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 3 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Rule4 (Boulder, CO)
Entretien
Very simple interview process. A few virtual conversations where they explained the role and I explained my background. Then they flew me out to Boulder CO to meet in person where I met with a few of the senior members of the team. The people were great to talk to and were extremely knowledgeable in their field.
They explained a BRUTAL onboarding process which entailed 50-60+ hours a week for the first ~90 days of employment. After some additional research regarding the position, I found that the phrase "hire liberally, fire quickly" is often tossed around, which is present in the attrition rate of the Cyber Security Engineer position.
Overall, I decided it wasn't for me,
Nothing against Rule4 or the people who work there. They are knowledgeable in their field and I wish them nothing but the best.

Rule4 reached out 5 days after receiving my online application. The interview process involved a Zoom interview with the CTO and a separate one with the principal engineer, followed by an on-site interview with VPs, CTO, and Co-Founders. It took about 4 weeks from initial interview to onsite interview. The interviews were not really technical and relatively basic compared to other interview I have experienced for this type of role. Most questions where general interview questions such as "were do you see yourself in 5 years" and " why do you want to work for us", with a couple high level technical questions. There were no cybersecurity oriented questions. When asked about work life balance, the CTO and Principal engineer where very transparent in mentioning that the role would require a 3 months "brutal" onboarding process with a weekly average of 55+ hours of work, and 45 to 50 hours after onboarding. Despite expressing interest both during the Zoom and in-person interviews, I didn't have the opportunity to meet any employees with similar roles to discuss day to day, onboarding, and work life balance. Overall, the interview experience was positive. The interviewers were friendly and maintained a casual atmosphere, reflecting a cohesive team that genuinely cared about the company. Rule4 also provided great flexibility with travel arrangements for the on-site interview.
