Poor communication style and a general lack of respect for applicants' time. I was initially reached out to by a recruiter on Linkedin. I responded promptly and followed up, but the recruiter never answered again. After approximately a month, I received a call regarding salary expectations. I proceeded to have two interviews that both went extremely well. They asked me to work on a project, which took two days to complete. I already have strong opinions on the practice of unpaid work as part of the interview process, but they made matters worse by completely ghosting me. They did not even confirm receipt of my presentation. After following up two more times, I finally received an automated email that I am no longer being considered. If you are going to have someone complete labor for your company, at least have the respect to reply when it is provided.
