Entretien
I was contacted by phone in July, about 2 weeks after applying online. I was out of town when I received the call, so I was told by the manager who contacted me to give her a call when I got back. I did as she instructed, but it took a couple of days to get in touch with her. Once I did, an interview was scheduled for the next day. I arrived 10 minutes early and was greeted by the store's security guard, who was very polite and offered me a seat while I waited.
When the manager was ready for me, she walked me to her office located at the back of the store. The interview lasted less than 15 minutes. It seemed like she hadn't had much experience interviewing. She had a list of interview questions and frequently stopped to pick questions from that list. During the interview I was informed this was a seasonal position, not a permanent one. When I was applying for the job, the description had not indicated it was seasonal. I was fine with this because the manager told me there was a possibility of being hired permanently. As she walked me out of the office, she told me she had some more interviews and that if I didn’t hear from them by the end of the week, it meant they’d chosen other candidates. The end of the week arrived and I didn’t get a call or e-mail.
In October I received an e-mail welcoming on-board. I figured it was an e-mail sent by mistake, but a couple of days later I got a call from a store employee asking me if I could go in the next week to begin training. I explained to her that up until that week I’d had no idea I’d been hired and I was already working somewhere else. She told me I was supposed to have been receiving e-mails. She was really nice and told me to give them a call if my other job didn’t work out.
Questions d'entretien [1]
Question 1
The interviewer asked some pretty basic questions. Why do you want to work here? Are you willing to cross-train in different departments? Do you shop here? Is it ever okay to be late?
It was a group interview, but very easy, received the offer almost right away after verifying I'd be able to complete the required tasks. Manager was very kind, but clear and concise on requirements. Took about 20 minutes

Called in for interview pretty quickly. It’s not hard at all, especially if you’ve worked in retail before. Probably received a call back within 2 days after applying. Went in for interview & was told on the spot that i got the job.
