Recruiter reached out to me about this position - positioned the job and company in a strange way... Made sure I knew that the company had "not the best technology" and "wasn't one with typical perks like tech companies or other retail companies in the area." Went in for two rounds of in-person interviews - they had me talk to a bunch of random positions since this was a brand new job and they weren't sure who was really going to be involved. In the end, I was told the company was holding off on hiring for this position... Only to find out on LinkedIn that someone was hired. Very weird experience, and I feel like I definitely dodged a bullet.
