• I applied to Roland Berger's Singapore office in Oct 22 and made it to the 3rd/final round interview in Feb 23 before being rejected.
Application Steps:
1. Resume/Cover Letter Screening
2. Assessment Centre
3. Interview w/ HR
4. 1st Round Interview w/ SC or PM
5. 2nd Round Interview w/ Principal or Partner
6. 3rd/Final Round Interview w/ Managing Partner
Interview Structure:
• 15 min - Fit Questions
• 30 - 40 min - Case Questions
• 5 min - Q&A Session
My Experience:
• The HR staff was extremely friendly, helpful, and responsive throughout the application timeline.
• The 1st and 2nd round interviewers were friendly, offered guidance/feedback, and asked case questions related to their portfolio/experience.
• The 3rd round interviewer was friendly but did not offer guidance/feedback, and chose not to ask business case questions (see interview questions below).
Advice to Potential Candidates:
• You will be dropped from the application process if it is made known that you are concurrently applying for McKinsey/BCG/Bain.
• I am unsure why memorising easily searchable country data would be assessed so highly at the end for this entry-level position but learn them by heart if you wish to increase your chances.
