Applied online, the HR then called and asked for a more detailed resume (mine was already few pages long!) She called again and said that the hiring manager is on vacation and will return after 2 weeks. 3 weeks later - nothing! I sent her an email, to which she replied briefly to wait, 2 hours later she sent another email to setup a face to face interview, obviously a bit disorganized but anyway, I replied back. then comes the f2f, the most abhorrent person I ever met! I waited next to the security guard at the entrance door - the company does not have a reception area nor a lobby , the hiring manager came 20 mins late! First he asked 3 questions about my age in different styles, which right then and there signaled his bias and discrimination; he then proceeds to the technical part which he asked literally 2 questions: first one he didn't even listened to my answer and just jumped out of his chair and left the room with no excuse leaving me astonished! I wrote the answer in detail with all relevant diagrams on the whiteboard which happened to be at the meeting room, he came back and I gave him a detailed answer using what I wrote and explaining the various components. second question was no better, he kept fiddling with his phone and proceeded to make a phone call whilst I was answering, obviously I stopped until he finished his call, he then hung up and asked why did I stop!? I apologized and continued my answer, he then dashed again out of the room answering the phone (YES, AGAIN)! at that point I was 100% confident that it's not an interview but mere formality charade to hire someone they already have in mind, maybe and inside employee, after he came back I wrapped up my answer. he asked at the end if I had any questions for him, I asked a few. He then told me that the HR will get in touch with me for the "next step" .. which, you guessed it, never happened
